This is better than taking him tomorrow or Friday for an emergency transfusion. He has outpatient chemo on Monday so we need him to be strong and ready for it.

On Nov 24 2005 Amaey was diagnosed with Type B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The doctors call this kind of Leukemia "the poster child" and there is a 85% survival rate. This type is more prevelant in children under 3 years of age. For more information on this you can check http://www.lls.org/
